Annual Go Red for Women Luncheon
Cherylyn Hair Salon participates in the Annual Go Red for Women Luncheon and Learning Sessions. This event is usually held at the Hyatt in Greenwich, CT and Cherylyn Salon stylists offered quickie hair makeovers and make-up.

Hope's Door
On Feb 13, 2010 the Cherylyn Hair Salon in Armonk, NY welcomed 12 women from Hope's Door Inc. who were suffering from domestic abuse. Cheryln Salon treated them to complete make overs. The goal was to help the women realize ther inner beauty and to empower them to live their lives to the fullest. Hope's Door www.hopesdoorinc.org serves families suffering from Domestic violence. When Hope's Door first opened its doors in 1986, the agency operated a 24-hour crisis line but did not have the space to provide shelter. Instead, clients were housed at local hotels. In 1989, the agency opened its own shelter and began providing temporary housing to victims of domestic abuse. Since 1989, Hope's Door has provided safe shelter for over 3,787 women and their children, and answered over 16,000 crisis line calls.
Children's Cancer Fund
For 20 years Cherylyn Salon has hosted our Children's Cancer Fund Luncheon, Fashion Show & Holiday Boutique on the 1st Monday in December. It has become a tradition! However, in December 2019 (pre-pandemic) at the Tamarack Country Club we hosted an evening affair with a cocktail hour, fashion show, dinner, entertainment and live auction.
